IPL 2021 Live Score, DC vs RCB Live Cricket Score Online: Both teams have eight points each, but Delhi are second above Bangalore, thanks to better net run rate.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bowl first. At the same time, RCB’s batting team will be batting first.
The 22nd match of the tournament in IPL 2021 is being held at the Narendra Modi Stadium today between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. Both teams have eight points each, but Delhi are second above Bangalore, thanks to a better net run rate. Bengaluru suffered their first defeat of the season in their last match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 69 runs on Sunday and this worsened RCB’s net run rate. RCB won all four of their matches before losing to Chennai. The middle order has big hitters like Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers, while their opener Devdutt Padikkal and captain Virat Kohli’s recent form is even better.
Ashwin will miss
The good thing for Delhi is that all-rounder Akshar Patel has joined the team after recovering from Kovid-19 and on Sunday, he bowled in the super over and also contributed to the team’s victory. However, the team will miss their main spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who went back home after Sunday’s match. Off-spinner Ashwin has taken a break from the IPL as he wants to be with his family during the Kovid-19 pandemic.

Delhi’s top order strong
In the absence of Ashwin, Amit Mishra and Patel will take over the responsibility of the spin department of the team. Both had spent only 57 runs in the last eight overs against Hyderabad in the previous match and had taken three wickets. It will be interesting to see how Kagiso Rabada bowls in front of Maxwell and de Villiers. Delhi’s top order is very strong.
