However, in the wake of the pandemic Corona virus havoc, a lot of changes have been made in IPL this time. All the teams are all set for their first match. In this sequence, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have reached Chennai to play the first three matches of the 14th season of the IPL. KKR has confirmed this by photographing some players on its Twitter page. Considering the Kovid-19 epidemic, no franchise in the IPL will play on its home ground.
Quarantine at Kuldeep, Ferguson and Cummins Hotel
The two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are all set for their match. Kuldeep Yadav, Lockie Ferguson and Pat Cummins are in quarantine at the team hotel in Chennai. Barring these three, the entire team and management left in the afternoon on a chartered flight to Chennai. KKR’s team has confirmed this by sharing some players’ photos on Twitter.
First match against Sunrisers Hyderabad
KKR’s first match in IPL 2021 will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chepak on 11 April Sunday. After this, Chennai will face Mumbai Indians on 13 April and Royal Challengers Bangalore on 18 April. After playing in Chennai, the KKR team will return to Mumbai and then leave for Ahmedabad. Bengaluru will be the final leg of the KKR team led by Eoin Morgan.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have won the IPL trophy 2 times so far. KKR won the title under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir, defeating Chennai Super Kings in 2012 and Kings XI Punjab in 2014.
